A journey to my first 1 000 gifts

Today I discovered that A Holy Experience is hosting a Joy Dare this year where each month we are challenged to look for His hand of blessing, be thankful and count.

I have decided to join in and experience this life changing event and count my 1 000 blessings and:

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving
and a thank offering and into His courts with praise!
Be thankful and say so to Him,
bless and affectionately praise His name!
Psalm 100:4

In 2 Chronicles 16:9 we read: For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. . . What better way to focus my eyes on Him and count my blessings with Thanks giving.

 

Know (perceive, recognise, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations. Psalm 100:3-5
